I really loved the nature in Inverness. We stayed near Loch Ness and could see it from our cottage window. I didn’t know how amazing the mountains where until I saw them. I really loved seeing lots of deer and we even saw a red squirrel crossing the road. We went for walks even though it was cold, I liked how pretty it looked.
We went to the Loch Ness Museum which was actually fun as they had lots of big screens and it was more like a story that you moved from room to room to find out. I think he’s real btw :p
We went to a battlefield which is very famous called Culloden. I thought it was boring to be honest but my parents liked it, it felt like we were there for ages and they read all the information in the centre. The field was just a field but they told me it was the place that a war was lost and England stopped people being Highlanders (the people that wear kilts).
We had a proper fire in our cottage so Dad showed me how to make it properly.
